What is it again?

Celebrating Mother’s Day , The Beaulieu Village Hall’s Golden Jubilee 50th Anniversary, Kick starting National Village Halls week Beaulieu Village Hall’s annual community show. Also joining in with New Forest Awakening Festival. Imagine a farmers market but instead of just pies, sausages, cider and apples it’s full of ideas from enthusiastic people committed to helping you be healthier, fitter, happier, more sustainable, and more fulfilled. Health and wellbeing and sustainability – tick! Oh, and there’s a bar with beer. Oh and snacks.

When is it?

The Beaulieu Village Hall Golden Jubilee show is on Sunday 15th of March 2026 (Mother’s Day). Not long now so please book tickets below!

Who’ll be there?

As many of the Beaulieu Village Hall and Beaulieu groups as can get out of bed on time. Last year there were people from Beaulieu cricket club, Beaulieu River Sailing Club, Beaulieu History Society, Beaulieu Horticultural Society, The Countryside Education Trust, singers, dancers etc etc. Come and find out what they get up to and why you might like to join or not. Then there’s lots of sustainabilty support groups such as HEAT with an infra red scanner that can come and check your house for where you may be wasting electricity and what to do about it. Wildlife groups that can explain how to help hedgehogs or bats or swifts. Therapists who can help you be healthier, instructors who can help you be fitter. Did we mention the locally brewed beer?

Why should you come? it’s Mother’s Day!

Yes we realise it’s Mothers day so they’ll be treats for mothers (we know they’re special! ) Treat your mothers! Make a day of it! Book lunch at Fairweather’s Garden Centre, lunch or cream tea at The Montagu Arms Hotel or there’s The Beaulieu Bake House . If your Mum is up for something more adventurous take the river walk from Beaulieu to Buckler’s Hard and have drink and a snack at Henry’s Bar at the Master Builders or the Captains table at the Museum . Or Exbury Gardens just across the Beaulieu river from Bucklers hard (about a 15 min drive from Beaulieu if you don’t fancy the swim) will be open.

What’s in it for us?

2026 is the Beaulieu Village Hall 50th Anniversary, Golden Jubilee. We hope to be still here in another 50 years and restore the hall to it’s original glory of a crisis and emergency centre. That means raising a buttload of money, fixing the roof, a new floor, solar energy, storage and back up heating plan, a revamped stage suitable for travelling troubadours and productions, tree planting, superfast wifi, some parking spaces for instructors , event organisers and performers, better outdoor lighting and security cameras (some dirtbag nicked the charging cables off the car chargers) , more storage for fitness equipment, a coffee machine for the office space, revamping our patio garden and adding some more seating, adding a “village history wall” to tell the story of Beaulieu Village (and hopefully impart some heritage and history to the Beaulieu Village schoolkids that pass every day on theyre way to School lunch that we host. There’s more on our list but we don’t want to bore you we want you to book a ticket! (Thats going to help a lot – we’ll get an idea of how much beer to brew, how many pies to bake, how many emergency parking spaces we need to beg off The Cricket Club and the Beaulieu Abbey
